Private, custom wellness workshops

These trauma-informed, body-based workshops are carefully curated for people working high-impact, high-emotion professions.

The 30-90 minute private, immersive group sessions weave guided meditation, writing practices, nervous system education, movement and group discussion designed to recenter wellness, remind participants of the vastness of their power and process the depth of all they are carrying within.

Who I Serve —

  • Journalists, storytellers and social workers holding collective grief.

  • First responders and healthcare workers moving high-intensity trauma.

  • Coaches, healers, and facilitators who need a place to tend to their own sensitive hearts.

  • Mission-driven teams who would like greater support in creating and maintaining a culture of real wellness amid exhaustion.

  • Bold leaders desiring a space to remember the Why behind their work and reclaim the power they hold.

  • Disruptors, change-makers and agitators craving deep rest in addition to a reconnection to the fire within.

These are not just sessions — they are resets which spark meaningful shifts that last beyond our time together.

People often enter sessions feeling overwhelmed, disconnected and holding more than their bodies can sustainably hold.

And then leave with —

  1. A nervous system that actually knows how to come down from constant intensity and process overwhelm without shutting down. They have greater capacity to regulate.

  2. New somatic practices and tools they can return to long after our time together ends to support regulation in high-stress environments.

  3. A deeper sense of safety in their body, voice and leadership.

  4. Permission to honor their depths, genuinely rest, show up authentically in their work and lean on community.

  5. A remembering of the deeper Why behind their mission-driven work.

Organizations I Have Worked With.

Meet Your Guide.

Margo Snipe guides mission-driven leaders as they reconnect with their bodies, reclaim embodied confidence, expand into authentic expression, root into deep self-trust and find the safety to both rest and experience pleasure.

As a former award-winning journalist, her work has always honored the transformative power of the stories we carry in our bones. Stories can heal. And sharing them — in our words, our bodies, and our lives — is an act of liberation.

For years, I wrote about the depths of the human experience, piercing the surface to hold space for our real, raw truth. My sensitivity to the environment around me shaped my journalism career. As a reporter, I learned the power of witnessing. Since graduating cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in psychology, my writing has appeared in the Tampa Bay Times, Capital B, CNN, The Marshall Project, and VOX. From a yearlong investigative series that exposed Georgia’s alarming maternal deaths rates to a piece on how Black Americans are healing, my work has always been mission-driven and liberation-based, spotlighting tragedy, trauma and paths towards freedom.

That same thread led me out of full-time journalism into healing work. I originally launched The Stories Within, LLC to support first responders and journalists carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. The wounded healer. I wanted to offer all that I, at one point, needed — a path back to the body, to inner safety, to regulation, to self.

VIRTUAL

30 minutes: $400

60 minutes: $600

90 minutes: $800

Themes can include —

  • Wellness As Resistance

Where we down regulate participants’ nervous systems in real time through deep meditation, light stretching, a writing practice and community discussion. We work with what it means to be deeply well and how to weave our own unique pathway to wellness into daily life.

  • Embodied Power

Where we alchemize suppressed rage into reclaimed power through a high-impact Body Temple Dance movement session, embodied writing and community discussion. The focus is on remembering the Why behind the work and learning nervous system-based tools for staying with the discomfort that comes with being a disruptor, agitator and change-maker.

  • Bold, Wellness-Conscious Impact

Where we reframe the meaning of the word ā€œimpactā€ by looking at all the ways participants are already creating it in ways that are both concretely measurable and absolutely immeasurable. We remind participants that they are already actively creating change and that in order to continue seeing external movement, self—preservation through wellness is required. They will receive practical education on what sustainable service could look like for them. We will meditate, move lightly, write and discuss.

  • Moving With The Depths

Where participants process the heavy they hold in a community space so that they may leave lighter. We move away from suppression and into expression in a strongly held, brave container. This includes meditation, light Body Temple Dance movement, courageous writing and extended community conversation. We root into truth together.

  • Authentic Leadership

Where we look at how participants own personal narratives around Why they do their work bleeds into the uniqueness they bring to their service. What are our values? How do we continue to hold them in tense moments? How do we continue to root into our power in the moments where it matters most? How do we build enough inner conviction to say the edge-y thing? How do we work with the discomfort of going first as a leader? We will explore why leadership must be rooted in real, embodied wellness. This includes self-inquiry through writing and light meditation.
